What does Grand Vacation Homes do?

Grand Vacation Homes is a wholesale travel company.  We work with large property managers and directly with home owners to market and book thousands of properties in many different destinations.   After years of building relationships with top lodging companies throughout Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, we are able to negotiate discounts on lodging and lift tickets in many of North America’s most popular ski resorts for our clients.   Mary and Kathleen personally know the places we represent, so we are able to help our clients plan every detail of their mountain vacations, including lodging, airport transfers, ski school, equipment rentals and dining suggestions. Because we are a small company with no overhead and we don’t charge ridiculous booking fees on top of the rental amount, we are able to pass along savings to our clients.  We typically can save our clients from overspending on their vacations by hours of planning time and hundreds of dollars!

Where does GVH have properties?

Grand Vacation Homes started managing and marketing homes in Park City, Utah in 2007.  Because we are based in Colorado, we decided to add Colorado ski resorts to our portfolio that same year, and then in 2009 we looked North to include Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Listed below are the destinations where GVH has properties:

  • Park City
  • Deer Valley
  •  Steamboat
  • Vail
  • Beaver Creek
  • Aspen/ Snowmass
  • Keystone
  • Breckenridge
  • Telluride
  • Jackson Hole

What are the advantages of working with GVH?

Time.

We know how precious time is, and we get that you don’t want to spend hours searching the Internet for the best deals on your mountain lodging.  We do that footwork for you and save you both time and money! You can fill out our Information Request page or call / email us with your criteria.  You won’t have to send out multiple inquiry emails and wait for each one to respond.  We will sift through all the available properties and send you a concise list of the best options for your family or group.

Money.

We’ll help you save it!  You won’t pay any booking fees with us.  We will search for any promotion we can apply to your reservation to give you the best available rate, and make suggestions such as date shifts to get you the best deal.  And, because we are a small company with little overhead, our prices beat any others you’ll find online.

Knowledge.

We know our stuff.  We personally visit every property we represent.  We know their locations, proximity to lifts, special features that will appeal to every group, and we can make suggestions to help you choose the best location and property for your family / friends.

Does Grand Vacation Homes only offer expensive, “Grand” ski homes?

Absolutely not!  Clients can choose from studio condos and hotel rooms to large condos, town homes and exquisite private ski chalets.  We work with each client individually to learn what your ideal budget and other criteria are. Are you looking for a quick romantic weekend getaway?  How about a European-style boutique hotel in Vail? Are you looking for a family-friendly ski condo? How about a budget-friendly condo in the heart of River Run Village in Keystone?  Corporate retreats? Group trip to the Sundance Film Festival? Family reunion in Yellowstone National Park? A wedding in Beaver Creek? You tell us what you’re looking for; we’ll find it.

Does GVH only offer winter ski rentals?

The mountains offer great activities and jaw-dropping beauty throughout the year. Skiing and other winter sports are obviously a big draw, but every season brings different possibilities. Our vacation rentals are available year-round to help our guests get away and enjoy the mountains.

Here are some of our favorite seasonal mountain activities:
* Hiking * Mountain Biking * Summer Festivals * Mountain Weddings * 4th of July Festivities * Yellowstone National Park Tours * Fishing * Golfing * Zip Lining * Panning for Gold * White Water Rafting * Spa Treatments * Tubing down the Yampa River * Fall Colors * Family Reunions * Snowmobiling * Snow Tubing * Cross-country Skiing * Downhill Skiing * Snowboarding * Sundance Film Festival * Relaxing * Hot Springs *

Does GVH offer airline tickets or rental cars?

Grand Vacation Homes does not offer airline tickets or rental cars. We focus on the lodging and lift ticket components of your trip, but we are happy to recommend other sites where you can find the best deals on rental cars and airline tickets without spending hours searching the Internet.

Does GVH offer lift tickets?

Yes! Grand Vacation Homes does offer lift tickets, often at discounted prices. Throughout the year, we’ll offer Ski Free promotions at places like Jackson Hole, Keystone and Breckenridge. We also offer Epic Passes, which may be a more economical choice for people who will ski more than three days per year at certain resorts. Let us know what your plans are for the upcoming ski season and we’ll help you choose the best option to save you money!
